The Owners of this high rise downtown Toronto office building wanted to refresh the look of the washrooms, corridors and elevator lobby on several floors. Grgas was brought in by the Owner to take over project management when the project was roughly 50% complete but already several months late and many thousands of dollars over budget.
Under our management the remaining floors were completed within the time that they should have been initially and extras were minimized.
The Owner subsequently retained Grgas to project manage the refreshment of 2 more floors. We instructed the architect, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer to prepare a complete new updated set of tender documents taking into account all lessons learned in the initial project.
A new general contractor was retained and the floors were completed in less time and for significantly less cost than the initial floors.
