This downtown Toronto 20 storey commercial office building built in 1928 had 10 roof sections. Every roof level was of a different vintage and some were experiencing significant problems with leakage.
Based on the roof condition assessment and repair recommendations, the Owner proceeded with replacement of a roof section on the 18th floor. The existing inverted roof was replaced with new modified bitumen roofing complete with new vapour barrier, tapered insulation and perimeter flashings.
