This 15 storey apartment building had extensive problems with its brick. The building had been previously repaired, but still continued to deteriorate.

Investigation revealed the deterioration was caused by a tear in the roof membrane allowing water to get into the exterior wall, causing the brick to crack due to freeze-thaw action.
